In our campus commitment to sustainability, Caldwell University graduates will be wearing environmentally conscious GreenWeaver® regalia. This line of graduation attire is made of fabric spun from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.

With an average of 25 plastic bottles being used to produce your cap and gown, you are helping to ensure a cleaner, healthier future for our planet! 

Since 2017, Caldwell University graduates have helped to divert OVER 100,000 plastic bottles from landfills!

Ordering academic regalia reserves your seat and guest tickets at our annual Commencement Ceremonies* in May 2024. Students must wear Caldwell University academic regalia consisting of cap/tam, gown, hood, and tassel appropriate for the degree earned. Honor cords are distributed by the Academic Department/Honor Society, if applicable.

This year every graduating student will receive a Caldwell University Zipper Pull Medallion in their regalia package compliments of the University. Attach this gift to your gown to show off your Caldwell pride at graduation! After Commencement, you can clip it on your keychain, jacket, gym bag, or suitcase bringing your love of Caldwell everywhere you go.

Upon placing your online order, your academic regalia and graduation accessories will be conveniently shipped directly to you, allowing you to have your regalia ready for the ceremony, take photos to share with family and friends, and as a keepsake of this important milestone.  Your last day to order is Friday, April 12, 2024. (Shipping and Handling fee applies.)

• Last Day to Order Fine Quality Regalia: Friday, March 15, 2024

• Commencement Clearance: To be eligible to participate in Commencement and receive guest tickets, graduates must have applied for graduation by the deadline (see Academic Calendar) and received official Graduation Clearance from the Registrar’s Office. Graduation Clearance emails are sent at the conclusion of add/drop week to each prospective graduate for December and May applicants. Summer Applicants will receive Clearance by April 12 if they have fully enrolled***. If you did not receive your graduation clearance, please speak with your advisor right away.

*Commencement Ceremonies:  Celebrate your accomplishments during the weekend of May 18-19, 2024. Designated times of the Graduate and Undergraduate Ceremonies will be announced shortly!

**Please note: You may return your souvenir regalia unopened within 30 days and we will gladly refund you the purchase price less shipping. All returned items must be unopened and in their original packaging. School specific stoles and year dated stoles are non-returnable.

***Summer applicants will only receive clearance once they have fully enrolled in the summer term for all outstanding program requirements. Registration begins November 13, 2023 for the Summer term.
